I graduated from Selma High so I have always known of Terri Sewell's record of accomplishments. I have admired her determination, hard work, and dedication to pubic service. She came back home to make a difference and I believe she will work hard in Congress to fight for jobs, better schools and quality healthcare for all.
I believe that her experience in finance and economic development is exactly the skills we need in Washington to help turn our economy around. I like that she works with school boards, cities and HBCUs to find money to do projects that benefit our community.
I am impressed by Terri's commitment to understanding the needs of the entire district. I think her public finance background will allow her to make an immediate impact in Washington on our behalf, and I am confident that this district will flourish under her leadership.
Terri is a decent human being with a big heart. I admire how Terri uses her many gifts to help others. Terri is someone I count on and believe in.
Terri will make us proud in Congress as Alabama's first female elected representative. Terri is clean as a whistle, sharp as a tack and tough as nails. She will use all of those talents to fight for you and me to protect our state and nation from bipartisan "gimme" politics. Terri understands that her word is her bond. She was raised in the Black Belt and lives by the Ten Commandments. Micah, the Hebrew prophet said, "The Lord requires that you do justice, love, mercy, walk humbly with God." That's Terri. Please join me in supporting her campaign for Congressional District 7.
Terri is a great example of what our children can accomplish when they are given the proper resources and the opportunity to succeed. I know she will be a strong advocate for the Black Belt and I applaud her for offering her skill set in service to her home district.
